Overall Satisfaction with Rippling
Rippling is used as our main HR system to deal with hiring, payroll, leave, healthcare, and other benefits. As an employee that uses Rippling, I have found the platform super easy to navigate and use. My first experience with Rippling was when I was completing my initial HR documents and the site easily led me through each step of the process. Coming from a past employer who did this all in person, I saw this process as super smooth and user-friendly. It literally took me less than 15-minutes and I have spent hours in the past going through these same steps. Today, I use the platform to check on my payroll, input time away, and update my HealthCare enrollments. The updates the platform shares with me are super helpful when needing to remember a task to complete or just be informed on updates to my profile.
- Effective communication about profile updates
- Clearly breaking down your payroll and tax details
- Easy and quick submissions for leave
- Timely notifications on enrollment periods
- I would appreciate more resources on how to best leverage the platform. I feel like I could find them if I search, but sharing tips could be a good way to make sure users are maximizing the experience.
- To be honest, this platform is way better than what I have experienced before so I don't have that much feedback on improvements.
- I feel like it has dramatically sped up general onboarding time. New employees do not need to dedicate 2-3 hours with HR just to get their work documentation submitted on their first day. This has resulted in more time back to the employee to learn the ins/outs of their role.
- The notification and task system has allowed for staff to be in charge of their benefits and puts less time on managers to constantly follow up and remind their team.
The previous systems I have used have been internally built. In these scenarios, the data and logging of tasks/updates have tended to be clunky and it was hard to easily find the information you need. When it came to looking at par stub details, I had to do my own math and percentage breakdown to make sure my with-holdings actually made sense. In addition logging time off and tracking timesheets was a mess of a process because sometimes you had to manage two systems and old/new versions for certain features.
