Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

We use Rippling primarily to manage hiring new employees (hiring documents, collecting all tax information, collecting all personal information), payroll (base pay, commissions, reimbursements), and tax documents that are generated at the end of the year and will soon start using it for benefits management.

  • It's extremely affordable, so strictly from a cost-per-user perspective, it was by far the best option.
Rippling support is very responsive. Our account manager, who gave us the demo and onboarded us, was very responsive and always available for calls when we needed during the onboarding process. He was well-informed and was able to connect us with the right people in Rippling for things like benefits management.

Rippling has an extensive knowledge base where you can probably find most of the answers you need.

Their chat/email support is also very good. Most of the time, they'll get back to you within the same day, and they have extremely detailed responses, so you'll have thorough support to rely on if you reach out to them.

There's no call option or CSM, but this isn't a big deal because it's mostly a self-serve platform, especially after you've been onboarded.

Rippling is easy to use, it's mostly self-serve, and everything is very clear. They have a good onboarding process, tours within the software, and a solid knowledge base.
For the most part, my day-to-day activities in Rippling are very easy to execute. It was a breeze getting set up when we first started, and regular work like sending out employment agreements or running payroll is extremely straightforward. For a smaller company like ours, after extensive research, we found it to be the best option. Compared to other similarly priced and rated payroll platforms in the market, they were also the only ones that gave us a demo and walked us through the platform so we could make an informed decision. The biggest downside is how long it took us to get set up with state tax agencies and get all our numbers processed. We're a fully remote company, and it would've been a lot smoother if Rippling had people who could help manage this process, so that we could take care of all our responsibilities without having to worry about that side of things. Having a tax consultant who can handle all the paperwork (even for a fee) would be a great add-on. It's been close to 5 months, and we're still waiting on numbers from North Carolina and it's just because we've never done it before, and aside from some help docs, Rippling doesn't offer much assistance here.
