Rubrik is used to backup on premises solutions and cloud solutions used throughout the whole organization.
- Easy to restore
- Live mount of backed up VM's from VMware
- Get better integration with VMware tags. It's only possible with simple queries against TAG.

We have changed from NetBackup appliances to Rubrik.
The admin GUI and backup/ restore process is much simpler on Rubrik than on NetBackup. Live mount of VM's are a lot simpler to use on Rubrik, even if it works fine on NetBackup also. The possibility to do complex query based VM backups is better on NetBackup.
