Overall Satisfaction with Sage 300 ERP

Sage 300 ERP is our financial backbone. It does all of our accounting and reporting. There are two of us in the company and we use Sage 300 ERP daily for quotes, cashflow analysis, government reporting, payroll and performance metrics.

Pros

  • Excellent customer inquiry - re: sales, receipts, credit history
  • Very good Business Intelligence module
  • Excellent financial statement reporting

Cons

  • The UI is a bit tired - this area should be updated
  • The Crystal reports are difficult to work with and modify
  • Provides for better customer service
  • Allows us to monitor our performance efficiently
Sage is much better at multicurrency support
Sage 300 ERP is strongest in the financial reporting area - great flexibility in preparing financial statements. The product is weakest in the manufacturing area - you need third party add-on products for best results.
