Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used for our entire organization. We have several entities set up within our management console for the entities that we manage. Intacct has given us the opportunity to produce financials for 8 entities each month and allows us to roll up data for our corporate review easily without manually combining it.
- Ability to edit Journal Entries without making a correction JE during an open period. Alleviates the issue of having multiple debits and credits for a transaction.
- Ability to customize all reports to fit your needs.
- Ability to role up financial data for different sets of financials to a combined summary. You can pick and choose which entities to include.
- Inter-company transactions without using the top level would be beneficial for split out invoices with third-party vendor - Bill.com.
- Ability to "talk" with our other software - Paycor and PointClickCare for payroll and AR/Revenue.
- Would like to see some sort of Missing AP report where monthly recurring vendors are cross checked for entry. If they are missing a report to download that would show us without manually reviewing the financial report.
- We are able to cut down our month end close process by 2 business days.
- It has allowed us to side by side compare our multiple entities and find cost savings by seeing our winners and who needs improvement. Approx. $6k a month in our Oxygen Bills alone by see each of our entities vendors and pricing them out.
- Special Ad Hoc projects for the team have been reduced by several man hours by the ability to create custom reports to meet the needs of requests.

Yes our organization has benefited from automation of the Accounts Payable process. We are able to cut checks weekly within a matter of minutes. We are able to make ACH payments that cuts down on costs of mailing checks. We are able to duplicate general ledger journal entries each month and set up recurring entries with reduces the hours needed to create standard JEs. We are also about to track Statistical Journal Entries for the # of residents that we housed in a month by Payor Source which is necessary for our report and calculations.
Our company has multiple entities. Intacct has allowed us to produce financials for these individually as well as dice and slice combined entities from the management console. It allows us to compare like entities. We are able to compare on the financials our actual expenses vs our budget both by actual dollars and other key metrics needed in our industry.
Sage Intacct is much more user friendly and geared to our industry. It talks with our other softwares which allows us to use the best of each module and link it to Sage Intacct. The implementation was much more detailed than the others. It allows for custom reporting that you can do yourself.

COVID-19 Updates & Changes
I am been able to work from home for years thanks to Intacct so COVID did not have a huge impact on our accounting teams current processes.
