Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It is being used in my current department and it is used to monitor the accounting activities of the organization.
  • It syncs with Salesforce.
  • I am able to use it to monitor the invoices that were paid and outstanding.
  • I recommend the dashboard because it gives us the opportunity to view our companies financial health for the accounts receivables side.
  • The issue comes from adjusting payments that were applied to the invoices. Once the payment is applied the options to adjust or reapply the payment to the correct invoice is a large issue.
  • The option to view the Sales Receipt Report would be better if we could view multiple banking accounts with the column for each account.
  • I would like to option to include more filter options for the reports model. For example, a balance report by account number would be helpful.
  • It has been costly in terms of building and creating reports. The limitation on building reports makes it time-consuming to build reports.
  • Finding payments is rather difficult in relation to which account it was sent too. It would be better if we could edit the payments after they were made in the invoice section other than the Sales Receipt Report.
I don't know if we have the benefits of this automation because I am limited with my user permissions. The reports are simple to create and find.
I have not used any of the modules named above.
Integrating Intacct into Salesforce was and still is an issue. We need to hire consultants to help set up the program in our system for it to work. The lack of our own understanding of programming has made it difficult to identify and solve syncing issues.
Sage Intacct in comparison to QuickBooks. I have had the privilege of learning QuickBooks in college and they training programs that they teach in college are very encompassing to the normal activities that we would perform on a regular basis. I understand that the programs are nothing alike. QuickBooks has been very user-friendly. In terms of creating and saving reports. I am able to adjust entries and reverse payments. I was once able to re-reconcile the up to 6 months of payments. Graphs and charts much more quickly. Intacct is something that has lots of limitations or at least my permissions won't allow me to develop as much as I wanted in Intacct.
It is well suited for creating an account and adding multiple accounts. The options for included objects like initiative, program, and others, make it easier to delineate accounts and programs that are receiving money.
