Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Sage Intacct as our accounting solution. Currently we utilize the GL, AR, AP, and Fixed Assets modules. Our company required the ability to consolidate 5 entities and support a lot of intercompany transactions. We were drawn to the product due to its ease of use and overall functionality.
  • Uploading/creating/reversing accounting entries are quick and easy
  • Easy to drill down into reports to see the underlying drivers of expenses
  • Consolidation process is simple, handles intercompany transactions seamlessly
  • Setting up tax reporting for fixed assets leaves a lot to be desired
  • Cash application does not handle our complexity well; Multiple bill-to customers on a single check covering hundreds of orders, small variances from billing due to fuel surcharge where as long as we are within $10, we write off or add in the revenue and close the invoice.
  • More options/flexibility in the reporting/graphing would be useful
  • Shorten month end
We have benefited from inter-company transaction support that has simplified the required accounting for our business.
We are a multi-entity organization that consolidates into two companies. Sage has made consolidations seamless and easy to manage.
A third party assisted us with the initial setup and implementation process. We have since gone back and made some changes as we have learned how to better utilize the system capabilities. Sage monitored progress along the way including post go live check-ins and meetings with function heads to discuss potential enhancements to the system.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

We operate with 5 entities, with one of those entities having 4 channels of revenue generation coming from 11 distinct operations. Sage offers the flexibility needed to align expenses to each stream of revenue, share/charge expenses across/between entities, and run reports at both the distinct operation level up to the consolidated level.
With some improvement to cash application and fixed assets to better align with our complexity, there is not a scenario where I would not recommend the product.
