Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is being used by accounting and finance, and it simplifies our financial accounting & reporting processes.
- Billing
- Journal Entries
- Payables
- Modules & add-ons don't always fully consider impact to Controllership functions
- Bank reconciliation automation doesn't work if you use any Intacct Partners
- Too many "upcharges" based on various modules - Intacct needs to provide "minimum viable product" recommendations
- By itself, no ROI to report as of yet. However, with integration to FloQast, improved close by 3 business days.
- With integration to expense connect/Wipfli, minimal T&E accounting oversight needed.
- With integration to ADP's GLI, minimal payroll accounting oversight needed.
To be blunt, there isn't much around automation that takes place in Sage Intacct that is more than automation I would expect out of QuickBooks or other similar program. Seems the automation comes through add-ons and partner applications rather than Sage Intacct itself.
