Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is being used across the whole organization. It is our main accounting software that keeps track of our accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll records. We also use the reporting function on Sage Intacct to produce monthly financials and other general ledger reports. It gives us a clear picture of our income and expenses and helps the operation team with their business decision-making.

Yes, our organization has benefited from these automations. We use process and store and memorized report functions to produce GL reports during the beginning and end of the month review. We also integrated with third-party software to post invoices to the Accounts Payable module automatically and managing purchase orders. For Accounts Receivable, we are able to import large batches of transactions to different AR GL monthly.
We have used the multi-entity function on Sage Intacct and we are able to review any intercompany transfers, funds transfers, and consolidated financials on Intacct. We would like Intacct to provide more reporting functions for multi-entity consolidated reporting and make the reporting period more dynamic to the business needs. We are planning to utilize more related to time and expense management going forward.
We are able to configure Sage Intacct on our own. Our account manager is very helpful in this process and has helped us troubleshoot different issues along the way. Our vendors were really new to Sage Intacct so we have been having some data import issues with it. We continue working through these issues and communicate daily with our account manager and vendor representatives.

Sage Intacct offers more reporting modules and easy-to-use reporting guides, instructions, and on-demand training sessions. I was able to get a basic understanding of different modules and reporting functions by going through the help center - help on this page function and participate in an advanced reporting class hosted by Sage Intacct instructors.
Intacct is good accounting software for small and mid-size businesses related to consumer products and different services providers. Manufacturing companies might not be able to produce certain production-related reports on Sage Intacct. Companies with worldwide locations might not be able to use Intacct for all the record-keeping needs.
