Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
The accounting department of my branch of the company uses Sage Intacct to invoice clients and track our financial activity.
- Customer Service - They are prompt to respond to issues.
- Online - You can log-in anywhere without having to download anything.
- Receiving payments does not feel as streamlined as it should be. If a payment is part of a batch that is entered, you can't delete just that one payment if it needs to be applied elsewhere or adjusted somehow. If any payment mistakes are made, you need to delete the entire payment and completely reenter it rather than being able to go in and adjust just one aspect of the payment.
- Related to receiving payments - If there is an account credit that needs to be entered, you have to go through an entirely different process rather than just entering the credit payment in "Receive Payments," like a previous system that I used.
- If you don't meticulously click everything that needs to be clicked, it will load an error page, and when you go back to correct the mistake, you often need to reload the entire page, losing the information you have entered, and [requiring you] to re-enter everything.
- Sage Intacct allows us to invoice clients, track payments for those invoices, and keep a record of our account activity and reconciliation. It fulfills its role well.
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
Yes
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
No
I very much preferred Quickbooks over Sage Intacct. It was more streamlined, intuitive, and user-friendly. You could make changes to entries that were made without deleting them completely and re-entering them, and reports were more readily understood.
We were switched to Sage Intacct due to the rising price of Quickbooks. I was not involved in the selection of Sage Intacct, so I am not sure why it was chosen over others.
