We do use automation in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules. It has helped to streamline these processes to make it easier to manage and track throughout the period instead of over spending time manually inputting bills and invoices.
We configured a lot of the Company items (Locations, Entities, Customers, Vendors, Employees, etc.). Intacct did provide early assistance to accomplish some of these items and make the setup a smooth process.

Sage Intacct is a great Accounting tool/system that finds the sweet spot of giving the next level of service/functionality compared to QuickBooks and other smaller systems while maintaining a very user-friendly interface. Report Writer has relatively robust options for Report creation, but could also use an update and become more streamlined and easy to use.
