Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce.com
Salesforce is used by management, sales, customer service, engineering, and marketing, to track prospects, leads, customers, marketing campaigns, and sales throughout the sales cycle. For our company it addresses the issues of allowing management to oversee each deal as our sales teams work them but also allows other departments to stay up to date with events that happen throughout the sales process.
- Organize customers, accounts, and opportunities.
- Integrates with our CMS for lead tracking.
- Allows our team to set reminders about tasks that are due so that sales tasks do not become forgotten.
- Email marketing is very limited in Salesforce. We tried using it but the data it provides is extremely limited and requires much more effort than other programs.
- Salesforce has had a positive impact on our team by allowing others to stay up-to date with current sales opportunities.
I have not tried using any other CRMs available. We are current hubspot subscribers as a CMS and I have briefly looked at their CRM platform but it does not appear to be as robust as Salesforce.

I was not part of the evaluation of the initial purchase but I have been of the re-order. Salesforce is a complete system and there are still new things that we learn every month from using salesforce. A platform this powerful does not exist elsewhere on the market at this time, but for the future it may be best to keep an eye on other salesforce competitors.
