Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce for Higher Ed
Salesforce for Higher Ed is currently being used for all of our enrollment management needs across both our undergraduate, graduate and adult education departments. This is being used for enrollment and marketing services for all of these programs. We were previously using another CRM, Hobsons, but discontinued that in late 2015 and haven't looked back.
- Great use of integrating across all aspects of enrollment.
- Easy to create tasks for counselors to remember to call prospective students and keep up to date on goals.
- Reporting is fabulous inside of Salesforce.
- All of the Apps in the App Exchange.
- The administration is a full-time job for one or more people.
- Can be somewhat confusing for non-technical staff members.
- Expensive when you factor in other components and all that goes into the CRM.
- More students have enrolled in lesser-known programs thanks to our outreach with Salesforce for Higher Ed.
- Less time wasted by counselors with tasks.
- More marketing dollars to spread around to other opportunities.
Salesforce for Higher Ed is great against other CRMs that are just charging on a flat rate. This means you only pay for who uses the product which can be much cheaper. Salesforce is the industry standard for CRM's so you have that going for you and you can easily reach out to find skilled staff members to use the product and administer it.
