Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Primarily used for Sales planning for the upcoming quarter. The data is then fed to SAP Analytics Cloud for further reporting. Have also used SAP BPC for Master Data Governance, budgeting and forecasting to some extent. During planning cycle, What- if scenarios are discussed and course corrections are made with ease.

SAP Analytics Cloud is the future of planning for SAP data sources. The features in SAP Analytics Cloud are modern and user friendly but not all scenarios from SAP BPC are covered yet.

Likelihood to Recommend

Integrated planning capabilities for SAP BW data is great. Connectivity to SAP Analytics Cloud is appreciated and but the liveliness of the data can be improved. Traditional planning capabilities are the best with the advantage of Master Data Governance. Performance has improved a lot with the recent version but business users are not yet satisfied.
