The technology is also useful in the financial services industry when it comes to AI-driven support, predictive analytics, and personalized experiences.

Pros

  • Managing risk, complying with regulations, and providing accurate and timely information is essential in banking
  • SAP software can help banks stay compliant, manage financial data, control costs, and reduce risk.
  • simplifies financial transactions for consumers or businesses, making them more accessible and generally more affordable. It can also apply to companies and services utilizing AI, big data, and encrypted blockchain technology to facilitate highly secure transactions amongst an internal network.
  • Diverse accounting tasks such as maintaining ledgers, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements etc., are managed automatically by SAP ERP solutions

Cons

  • Improvement suggested in better system resource overview cockpits, CPU, Memory and connection pool
  • Kyma is a little hard to understand/BAS cloud needs more themes/Restful ABAP and Fiori is difficult
  • Through the support team, incidents are raised and depending on priority picked up at a rate which is acceptable, but in can be bettered

It's a wonderful tool to make easier for vendors the purchases in a centralized platform.SAP Business Technology Platform allows for more custom developments compared to the BW equivalents. However BW still has far more build in tools, like system monitoring, delta loading, advanced scheduling and other data loading techniques.
