Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using SAP basically to streamline our sales, services, and marketing processes. SAP provides us with its analytics and recommendations, which enables our team to pre-plan many things, for example, our new project. In addition to this, we have been using SAP Analytics to analyze why certain deals couldn’t be cracked and what the team would have done to get more successful closer, making our sales team's overall performance good.

Pros and Cons

Database management: SAP has one of the best database management capabilities. It’s very easy to find the required data, and make automation to translate this data is one of the best features we recommend to everyone.
Integration: It provides easy integration with 3rd party applications, and in our case, we integrate SAP instances with open-air and NetSuite.
Analytics: We love SAP analytics and the detailed information it gives, and we use this information for our sales process extensively.

Overall performance: Most things are good, but their overall performance is not up to market standards. It sometimes takes time unreasonable time to load simple data.
Ease to integrate: This can be further improved to make the integration more easy.
Report and dashboard: It can be improved so that it can generate more powerful reports. The dashboard look and feel can be improved.

Return on Investment

Surprisingly, SAP has increased our manual human efforts to do our daily tasks through automation.
Due to the workflow and automation power betterment, now, after each release, our IT Team is able to configure more complex implementations without writing much of the code.
Thanks to small code implementation and easy deployment which has overall reduced time we took to release new features for our end user.

Usability

Thanks to the SAP box features which enables Enterprise level companies to just purchase a license and start their SAP journey most of the standard business problem are resolved easily with SAP OOTH functionality and also, with the help of easy low-code tools, complex problems can also be implemented much faster like never before.

Support Rating

Sometimes SAP Support might take much longer time to get back to you or to resolve the issue we raise to the support team related to some issue in the product, and hence this is one point SAP still has to work on. Although they have SLA Setup, sometimes support might give useless updates, and their SLA might keep on increasing.
