Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA

It is being used across the whole organization. I am using it to control the stock of railway materials, for example, to request purchases and transfers, analyze movements and stocks, validate material entries, among other activities. Thanks to SAP HANA, we were able to better control the stock in all the warehouses because of the data provided in HANA. For example, it automatically analyzes when we have to make requests thanks to these statistics. We have better management of the history and traceability of materials, and we can also access all associated documents.

  • Perform entry sheets of a position set.
  • Modify positions already released.
  • We have needed fewer warehouses.

  • We have needed less work time.
We changed PECTRA for SAP, since we were having many problems with the loss of information in the database and unexpected catalog changes. In addition to that, it was very cumbersome to perform data analysis. We had many problems with a lack of materials or that the necessary did not enter because of it.

SAP HANA is more suited to industries than service companies, as it specializes more in the product environment. I believe that this adds more value to medium and large companies. In order to apply this type of system, it must be borne in mind that considerable transition/implementation time is necessary in addition to training of all affected personnel.
