Overall Satisfaction with SAP Litmos

Litmos is the learning management system that facilitates learning across our business. We implemented the system in mid-2020 for a UK-based staff of over 300 (now close to 450). Implementation was smooth, although most of the work was done by the in-house team. The problem it was designed to solve was managing learning (remote and in-person) across the UK for our business. It has a catalog of programs you can add to the LMS which are good.

Pros

  • Integration with BambooHR
  • Reporting
  • LMS for remote learning (eg SCORM Files)

Cons

  • Support is poor as it's based on others having the same problem.
  • Product changes /improvements breaks the system in our organization.
  • Needs better client engagement for evolution and changes.
  • Enabled us to manage remote learning more effectively.
  • Reporting has greatly improved.
  • Increased compliance rates due to better reporting.
  • Internal feedback is positive.
Litmos has much better and more effective reporting than tessello but the UI (look and feel) is not as good. Integrations with Zoom are good. BambooHR integration is basic at best and needs to evolve. We have reviewed Cornerstone, Access, and a number of others but went with Litmos.

Do you think Litmos delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Litmos's feature set?

No

Did Litmos live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Litmos go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Litmos again?

No

Not complex to use but not as user-friendly as it could be. The integrations (Google, BambooHR, Zoom) are helpful but need to be more evolved. Calendar integrations would be useful. It is not too complex to use but little things like, Google SSO doesn't work on the mobile app.
Easy to implement but most of the work was done by the in-house team. Support was available, but after implementation was not there.
Small businesses without complex requirements are best suited. If you have complex requirements it is tricky to manage. The level of customization is good but this can be difficult to manage if the system changes break this (which has occurred a few times). SCORM files and the quality of the inbuilt programs are good. The integration into Zoom is helpful.
