Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We implemented SAP Litmos a year ago for our company and utilize it for both internal staff and external customers. The SAP Litmos platform has allowed us to standardize training methods and implement an effective way to track and manage training efforts. The reporting features allow us to identify trends and patterns with our learners. This allows our organization to constantly find ways to enhance the customer learning experience. Litmos has also allowed us to innovate and improve our training by allowing us to host customized content for out learners to complete.

Pros and Cons

Reporting- SAP Litmos allows customized and automated reporting features that will help with identifying learner trends and patterns
Customized Dashboards- Allows learners to see the progress, task reminders and completed achievements
Course Library - Offers a robust library of courses to meet the constant needs of your organization.
Adding course content that reflect the current time- For example Litmos readiness academy to reflect on maintaining a productive work environment during a Pandemic
Accessibility-training can be accessed from mobile devices on the go and a user can exit a training and pick up right where they left off without losing progress.

I would like to see more detailed instructions and perhaps "how-to" videos for features such as competencies.
I would like to see courses updated more frequently some courses are from 4+ years ago

Return on Investment

Increased employee engagement- offered courses such as HIPAA training and included interactive quizzes that encouraged learner participation
increased training compliance rates- tripled our training compliance rates received positive feedback on learner experience and content of training modules
Simplified Reporting- Allowed automated reporting of training numbers to internal managers of their staff . Also allowed the training team to monitor utilization rates and login activity for both internal and external learners
Customized Content- Allowed our organization to add customized content including training attestations and personalized certificates when learners completed training.

LinkedIn Learning (Lynda.com)

I think like Litmos, LinkedIn Learning has a robust library. SAP Litmos allows customization features that most platforms do not, including the ability to host training from other websites such as Vimeo and YouTube. Litmos also allowed us to connect directly with our CRM platform Salesforce for reporting and analytics.

Implementation of Litmos was successful for our company and our learners have enjoyed utilizing the platform. The features in Litmos are user friendly and if there were any challenges the support team at Litmos is readily available to assist. The platform brings great value to our training program and allows us to asses and address and gaps we may have with our learners in an efficient manner.

Implementation Rating

SAP Litmos is an excellent resource to engage and motivate learners to complete training modules. The robust library provides learners with tools for success both inside and outside of the office with courses on various topics from leading a successful team meeting to balancing a budget. Litmos also provided resources such as the Litmos remote readiness academy that helped learners identify ways to lead a productive environment working virtually during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

For companies seeking increased training compliance rates Litmos provides various reporting and analytic tools to identify trends with learners and help identify and fill any training gaps your company may have. The convenience of accessing Litmos from nit only a desktop PC but a tablet or mobile device allows learners to complete training on the go.
