Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Used in Treasury: BAM, Cash Management, Payment Factory, Liquidity Management.

Pros and Cons

Availability of new functionality; e.g. BAM, workflow etc.
Fiori apps give added value to users: new look and feel of SAP S/4HANA Cloud usage.
Increase in performance.

As it is a new product not all aspects work perfectly yet.
Unexpected changes between functionality between two versions, 17xx and 1809.
Ramp up Fiory Apps, some look almost the same with the OLD GUI ones.

Alternatives Considered

We are considering CFIN to be able to enhance our reporting capabilities across a multiple ERP system.

Great improvements possible for Finance, like we use it for implementing new our Treasury processes (BAM). However within the Logistic area the improvements seem less significant and some processes are even not supported anymore, like SD revenue recognition, while it is not entirely clear how to utilize any alternatives given like RR.
