Overall Satisfaction with SAP S/4HANA Cloud

We use FICO, PS, PP, SD, MM and PM. There are many other systems interfaced to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, so the data integrity is a very big challenge. One business case is the manufacture, we have another system handles the sales, then interface to SAP S/4HANA Cloud to create sale order. All the goods issue are triggered also from the other system. Then there is another system manages the transportation, then interface to SAP S/4HANA Cloud regarding SD delivery and financial freight invoices.

  • Configuration ability to Fiori reports
  • Embedded reporting configuration ability
  • More functions for new delivery apps, for example, period close can only schedule one variant each time
  • Reduce total cost of ownership by 20%
  • Save sustainment cost by 30%
  • Better visibility of day processed
Overall users are very satisfied, the business process has been continue improving as introduce SAP S/4HANA Cloud. There are issues with reporting, response time for any changes. Some new Apps has less functions that expected. Lack of configuration ability also make business disappointed. SOme new products that we try to introduce like group reporting but after initial try, cannot fully meet business requirement.

Finance is still the best, highly recommended. The integration with supply chains are very good. The project manage function still need more improvement as the function almost same as 10 year ago. Human resource seems no change, and move more to Success Factor. Plant maintenance looks ok but not super.
