Overall Satisfaction with Sauce Labs

Sauce labs is being used for cross browser and cross platform functional testing.
  • The documentation on how to use sauce labs is very informative.
  • It is easy to configure tests to run on different browsers and platforms.
  • Improve the API to that writes back test results on sauce labs.
  • It is hard to narrow down the ROI of Sauce labs on the enterprise as a whole. The reason being there are lots of changes that have happened simultaneously within the software delivery space.
Saucelabs is well suited for functional testing of applications. It takes away the need to setup and maintain a virtual machine for testing different browsers and browser versions. Saucelabs also enables automation testers to run a combinatorially large number of cross browser and platform tests. Mobile emulators provided by sauce labs are utilised to look at how applications are rendered on mobile devices. There is room for improvement for the capabilities offered by Sauce labs for device testing.
