Overall Satisfaction with Sauce Labs

Sauce Labs is used by our automation team to help us launch and monitor our suite of testing scripts. Having access to multiple operating systems and browser combinations helps us have cover and ensures the quality of our product (E-commerce web app) at all times, which helps us save time when manually testing by a large margin.

  • Video recordings could be improved.
  • VM access during a run could be a little better, lags behind sometimes.
Mine and my teams issues are resolved in a timely manner, the support staff is quick to respond and the majority of dialogue is is very helpful.
Outside of resolving technical issues, SauceLabs is very helpful in recommending tips and enhancements to the automated testing process as well as discussing any kind of improvements to our automation framework to improve SauceLabs integration.
Sauce Labs is really well suited for testing across multiple OS/browsers, as the cost of operating a ton of machines yourself for automated testing would be too much to do on your own. Sauce Labs provides this business need with helpful customer service and an easy setup. Sauce Labs is less suited when you have a narrower scope on testing, and where multiple OS/browser combinations don't matter.

We received exceptional support from SauceLabs when they setup a meeting with my team and myself which revolved around improving our testing process and giving us a good overview of Selenium WebDriver. We incorporated the tips from this meeting into our workflow and adjusted our script development process to accommodate these changes.
