Overall Satisfaction with Sauce Labs

We use Sauce Labs primarily to test our mobile website. In the future, we will likely use it to test our mobile app as well as to facilitate automated testing. It allows developers and testers the ability to test cross platform without having to have physical devices at our workstations.
  • Can access from anywhere.
  • Wide variety of devices supported.
  • Can create a tunnel to lower environments.
  • Performance can be a challenge with the simulators at times.
  • Having a small number of month to month licenses is not easy to manage.
  • Should allow for grouping of individual month to month licenses for easier management.
  • Lowered cost to keep up with new devices.
  • Mobile testing capabilities for more of the dev/QA team.
In our limited use, it has been good for relatively quick confirmation of bugs on devices/environments that we do not have in house. It has been great for developers to use during construction, so that they can test their dev environment without having to check in, build, and deploy the code to the QA environment.
