Overall Satisfaction with Sauce Labs

Sauce Labs is used at our company at the team level, which is a test automation support team and is used by the various sprint teams by developers, QAs, and even BAs. Sauce Labs helps us ensure our applications are tested thoroughly on multiple browsers across many versions. It is also being used for mobile app testing.
  • Supports many browsers and versions.
  • API for collecting test + build data.
  • Great enterprise support.
  • Thorough documentation
  • Scaling VMs horizontally is expensive.
  • Site UX can use an upgrade.
  • Searching for test and build information is cumbersome.
  • 1000s of hours saved in terms of manual testing efforts.
  • 1000s of hours saved in terms of developing and maintaining our own Selenium Grid.
  • 1000s of dollars saved in providing the infrastructure to deploy our own Selenium Grid to.

Yes

Sauce Labs is perfectly suited for any company or organization that needs to test on closed-source browsers such as Internet Explorer, Safari, and MS Edge. In addition, it is ideal for users that need high availability of automation test infrastructure as the VMs are always available if they are not being used.
