Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing HC3

Here at the City of Havre de Grace we have recently made the switch to Scale and couldn't be happier. This change was made from a performance need and so far Scale has passed that with flying colors. The speed has significantly improved and from a manager of the software, it is extremely user-friendly. When we made the change we made sure that Scale was going to take over our entire organization and it's done that and then some. Finally, I will say that for whatever problems we may have ran into with other brands we have yet to have any issues with Scale and could not be happier.

The Scale support since day one has been very reliable just from the standpoint of getting the product here and getting the product out of its box and getting it set up in a rack. From there, we talked to a few reps from Scale which were extremely knowledgeable and helped steer us in the right direction with the installation.
At the City of Havre de Grace our cluster on Scale host many of our servers/VMs. These servers that were running on our previous server seemed to be a bit slow even laggy on some days. After the switch to Scale, our active directory pops up in a second whereas before it would buffer and take some time.

I believe there are many pros and cons to each of the stated products but I feel when looking at Scale compared to those products Scale was an easy choice based on its performance, its user-friendly dashboard, their customer service and lastly the price. I felt as if you couldn't go wrong with Scale.
I feel as if it'd be better suited in larger businesses or work environments. If you were running an establishment with less than 50 employees you could find something that would work about the same for possibly less of the price that the Scale name brings due to performance.
