Overall team support was excellent bet it Sales, SI, CoE all are very supportive and help to set up a good POC for our customer and demo the complete requirements from my Customer.   • It helped to monitoring the customer PaaS Service
  • It has SaaS offering that helped my customer as it has Cloud first policy
  • Customization option is user friendly
Quick deployment, easy administration, customization flexibity, AIOPS capabilities like anomaly detections, Correlations etc.. are good and quick support on tech issues

It is more appropriate when we plan the entire landscape monitoring from a single tool. It does monitoring and also performs event management like deduplication and correlations. This won't fit if customers looking for low-cost monitoring solution and looking for sole network device monitoring like Routes, Switches, loadbalensers, Firewalls, Security devices, etc...

Integrating ScienceLogic SL1

we have done REST API, SNMP trap integrations with multiple other monitoring tools and all of them are easy and successful

We want SL to play a Manager of Manager and integrated
the different monitoring tools and Native tools.
Used the API,SNMP trap methods to integrate
  • Dynatrace
  • ManageEngine OPManager
  • OEM
yes vendor support these type of integrations, however
if the integration is complex, then we may have to opt for the PS support from
vendor
  • API (e.g. SOAP or REST)
SNMP traps, Emails.
With decent Knowledge on API's we can do
integrations with SL with different Monitoring tools and also ITSM tools like
ServiceNow.
With PS support from vendor we can also perform
some Advanced ITSM integrations like CMDB integrations.

Using ScienceLogic SL1

knowledge, for customization scripting knowledge.
  • Win/Unix/Linux OS monitoring like CPU, Disk and Memory
  • Cloud services like IaaS and PaaS metric for Azure and AWS

  • Use it as MoM and feed data from different data sources
  • Create more customed way to monitoring all cloud services that are not out of the box available

POC to support till all the Issues are Addressed
