Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic SL1

While our implementation has been a massive undertaking with the size of our deployments, there is always room for improvement and automation.
With our cloud-based deployments of ScienceLogic SL1 we have provided a single pane of glass for the cloud environments to be utilized by the application owners to support a spectrum of individual applications. This, alongside the available automation integration of PowerFlow to enrich our CMDB, has enabled us to provide a new level of monitoring capabilities.
On-Premise Only
  • Business Services are a welcome addition to the capabilities of the SL1 platform
  • Collections capabilities. Being able to ingest multiple forms of data streams to provide a more holistic view of an environment
  • Giving the clients the freedom to apply specific monitoring that is tailored to their environments
  • Ease of deployment of Business Services
  • A simplified view to represent multiple SL1 deployments in one place

For the last ten years, ScienceLogic SL1 has been my go-to recommendation for monitoring platforms. Its ease of learning curve and its out-of-the-box capabilities provide a majority accurate representation of alerting expectations with their eagerness to offer customizable solutions for one-off needs.
