Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic SL1

Even though ScienceLogic SL1 provides a good user experience and features for the users/customers, there are still areas that need improvement on. Also, I don't believe in full-scale rating as each and every company has its flaws and they intend to resolve them and move forward. Hence I have provided the rating based on it.
We mostly use ScienceLogic SL1 to monitor all kinds of Cisco Devices that are managed in the client environment. ScienceLogic SL1 helped in many ways to reduce the outages, and even if we have outages, it was notified well in advance to react to the problems. We are also using ScienceLogic SL1 for the performance and availability reports based on customer needs. This helps the customers to visualize the usage of their device.

Compared to the above tools, I find ScienceLogic SL1 is more efficient (not cost-wise) in monitoring standards, and I feel very comfortable handling the day-to-day activities. Based on features, it can be compared with LogicMonitor but monitoring checkpoints alignment is a bit complicated with LogicMonitor. ScienceLogic SL1 is very easy and comfortable.
Some of the scenarios that ScienceLogic SL1 was well suited was with network performance monitoring. As we were using UIM for monitoring, and that had a lot of constraints in it. Hence we moved to ScienceLogic SL1 for better monitoring capabilities.

The scenario where I find less appropriate is customising the reports. This should be made easier, like drag and drop of tables to create a custom report.
