We use it for technical SEO audits, checks, and QA. It has helped us scale efforts in those areas.

Pros and Cons

Audit redirects en masse - important bc stuff like that would take forever to do manually.
Site launch audits - again, it would take forever to check the technical aspects of a site launch manually.

Site speed measurement could be added/approved. Current page speed functionality is helpful at times but could be more robust.

Return on Investment

Time - the tool has saved us so much time and far exceeds what we have paid for it.
Pinpointing critical errors for clients - the tool has helped us catch critical errors that would have otherwise caused significant revenue losses.

The choice to go with Screaming Frog was really mostly about price and the fact that it does almost the same exact thing. There are a few things that DeepCrawl does that Screaming Frog doesn't, but it wasn't worth the increase in price.
