Overall Satisfaction with Short.cm
Short.cm is used in my organisation to shorten long links while working on customer support contacts where the text message character limit is only 260 letters. Also, it is a great software that readily provides shortened links which are useful to present on documents, presentations, and Zoom meetings. It helped me and my organisation save a lot of money by avoiding sending while responding to customers.
- Shorten long company's self support/help article links.
- Provides specific/curated domains for different businesses/companies.
- The links are customisable. Eg: https://ly.abc.com/ProjectReview.
- Short.cm could have integrated themselves into daily apps like Gmail, Twitter, etc so users do not need to go to the website, shorten the link and go back to their messaging tool.
- Request short.cm to provide more features in the basic/free version of their software.
- I do not see Short.cm doing enough marketing for their software to be used by general internet users.
- Shortening of long help articles.
- Make links more appealing and clickbait.
- Customise links and let the audience know what's inside. Example: https://z.xyz.com/CustomerComplaints.
- More user satisfaction on shortening links.
- Easy navigation of the software and accessibility.
- No extra steps are included in shortening links. Just paste the long link and get the shortened one.
Short.cm stands out to be the most easiest and accessible long links shortening software I have ever used. I recommend this software to any user who works on Twitter mostly as it has a character limit for its tweets. Also for organisations that require shortened links to present projects, etc to the teams.
