Overall Satisfaction with Skillsoft
I recommend products in their library to my customers. Fifteen years ago I was one of a few content developers for Skillsoft so I know the integrity of the instructional design and the quality of the product. Over the years, they have only gotten better and better and have some of the experts in the field as their subject matter experts. They run on all devices and you can even customize products from their library to meet your own needs. I now live in India and am having great response whenever I recommend Skillsoft to my customers and academic institutions as it is really the best out there. That is why they are the largest and most successful training company in the world and they earned it!

- Ability to customize your content and even put your logo in your training content
- Wide range of product categories to choose from
- Ability to get college credit, CEUs and certifications from leading organizations when taking certain training programs
- I wish they could figure out how to use their older method of process simulation while keeping the flexibility of the mobile device size - it is not something they are doing incorrectly it is just the size of the icons get too small.
- Sometimes their learning path seems tedious to the normal student, but as an instructional design professional I understand why they need to teach the way they teach.

I've written my own, used Pierson, and many others - and in fact, Skillsoft have purchased or acquired most of the better ones -- and there really is no competition in my opinion. They really do a great job - when you get the best at Harvard Business School as topic teachers, you've got the best products.

Vendor reputation - Skillsoft was the first company to provide initially online softskill training. They later branched out to technical training as well. The company's VP/Founder of Instructional Design, Sally Hovis, is so knowledgeable about the field and has been instrumental in the quality of the products. Their pricing structure is flexible and their library is perhaps the most complete than any other. One can pick and choose content, one can customize the existing content if you purchase a license to do so, and many of their courses are accredited so you can get a certification, such as Project Management.
Nothing would change because I am satisfied and I have the flexibility to choose and change my library selections. I might negotiate more on the pricing structure, but it is really difficult to beat their content.

Yes - It works quite well. It is both responsive and adaptive. The only drawback is that the desktop version previously supported outstanding simulations. Now that their content works on all devices, they have had to decrease or even eliminate their specialized simulation software because the icons became too small to view on mobile phones. This simulation was very complex and contained many branches for the learning process and quite sophisticated - so I was disappointed to learn that.
