Overall Satisfaction with Skype
I use Skype to keep in touch with key team members. We all use it for screen sharing and quick updates because everybody is familiar with it and knows what to expect. We can check in rapidly and call each other on demand because we all have it installed.
- Skype allows on demand video and audio conferencing calls.
- Skype allow screen sharing for presentations.
- Sky allows filesharing for collaboration.
- Skype is a RESOURCE hog. People who have limited bandwidth will have poor call quality.
- It is hard to figure out how to use emojis and upload images in the chat.
- The background images do not fool anybody....it is clearly not your real background.
- It has improved the speed at which we can get together in meetings
- It has made it easier to communicate visually and with audio.
- It gives us more flexibility in chatting synchronously and asynchronously all in one place.

Skype is less expensive because it does not cost anything and is free with Windows, if you just use the basic features. Whereby allows easier connections with people who do not have skype installed and allows up to 12 people in a room at the same time, and allows multiple branded rooms.
