Overall Satisfaction with Skype for Business

Skype for Business by Microsoft was previously known as Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Office Communicator. Today, it’s a popular instant-messaging client that can be used alongside Skype for Business Online or Skype for Business Server – solutions available with Microsoft Office The Skype for Business system was effectively designed to replace the old Windows Messenger solution that ran alongside the Microsoft Exchange Server. Skype for business is allowing us to have online conference calls with colleagues in other locations around the world.

The product is a pretty much a tailored offering for the corporates. The deployment is extremely hassle-free. And it's amazing how they have combined - voice, chat, and video on one platform. The UI/UX is pretty intuitive and easy to get hands on. The quality of voice and video is again top notch. It's good to see how they have included the face recognition and cropping capabilities in the video.
The collaboration capabilities are outstanding. Being able to drag people into meetings and share screen content all with full telephony capabilities have been a game changer for our organization. Presence and location setting have given our workers full transparency when working remotely.
