Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We have many channels to use for different topics or different clients to help communicate and share information that doesn't need to be in our project management system and allows us to keep email somewhat clean and manageable. It allows anyone to go back and review past content, only be on the groups that are relevant to them and find the history of what was discussed. Plus it's fun!
- Keeps different threads separate very well, can join relevant threads/groups
- Imbeds articles or notes
- Can direct message a person or have a private group
- Sometimes hard to find certain settings
- A bit hard to figure out how to join initially
- Customize features
- Keeps communication streamlined
- Better efficiency of time
- More knowledgable staff as information is always available
Way easier to separate conversations on Slack, direct at people and search topics and conversations. Much more efficient.
