Overall Satisfaction with Slack
Slack has become a central communication tool within our organization. As we've grown in size, it makes it much easier to group teams or reach out to the whole staff. Slack is also integrated through a few other apps we use, which makes it easy to call attention to information that they need to see or even reminders about an upcoming meeting. We can touch base even while they are still in a meeting instead of interrupting them. I recommend them as a great communication solution.
- HubSpot integration
- Outlook calendar meeting status update
- Tagging an individual, team or everyone
- Refresh glitches, every so often Slack goes blank, not sure if it's a cache issue or something within the programming, not a frequent issue
- Reduce costs
- Audio/video call improvements
- Group Tagging
- Unique Channels
- Ease of integration with other apps
- Improved inner office communication
- Remote employees are able to get answers and help quickly
- Sometimes status does not update properly, which can cause some issues
- Microsoft Teams and Meta for Business (formerly Facebook for Business)
It feels like several other apps are playing catchup. Seems that Slack has a better security for conversations and logs. Because of the jump on communications layout, they are leaps and bounds ahead of some of their competition. Customer service has been fairly good with fixes, and adjustments minimizing downtimes.

Using Slack
30 - From calls, to chats from our website, to schedules, Slack plays a pretty big role within our organization. Even if on a call I can still answer questions instead of making clients wait on hold or sending them to voicemail. Thankful that a small app can play this big of a role in helping communication within our teams.
3 - The skill levels between the support people vary. One has entry level tech support knowledge. Another has a much higher level of tech knowledge. Both ends of the spectrum can help out each of our users. If it goes beyond their experience, support seems to get things taken care of.
- call notification
- team chats
- surprise communication for employees
- Secret channels to plan surprises for employees
- Use of chat on our website through Slack saves jumping out of what I am doing
- special event planning for the staff without bogging down the main chat
- improving communication for teams with integration of other apps

Yes - Slack mobile version has been great. I can walk out of the office and interact with everyone even when I am away. Such a huge benefit when a client has a special need and someone is away. The mobile app is as easy to use as the main app again reducing the learning curve.
