Overall Satisfaction with Slack
I use slack mainly for user interaction, to keep in communication with multiple departments for daily operations of different software platforms we use internally. I also mainly use slack as my note-taking platform, as I can create reminders and tickets using this method with Slack and our internal ticketing system.
- Create Groups for specific users and their roles within Slack.
- Great for note taking.
- The mobile app makes it easy to keep in touch on my laptop or while on the go with my phone.
- A customizable notification center for messages would be a plus.
- Drafts do not always seem to create/save when switching between messages.
- Option for just “@mentions” would be nice (not including @here and/or @channel).
- Internal/external Communications.
- Note taking.
- Tracking and/or updating groups on trends within in the company.
- The biggest impact Slack has had for us is keeping internal users up to date with the different changes and issues happening within the company and with our customers.
- Helped with work from home collaboration.
- Has helped us track trends based on internal user reports.
