Overall Satisfaction with SmartSearch ATS

SmartSearch is primarily used by the recruiting department in our organization, although sales and account management has access as well. It is used to keep track of actions related to candidates and job requisitions that we receive from out clients. It keeps all of this information in one central location so that users can see what progress has been made on certain positions that we are working towards filling.

Pros

  • Keeping Files - easy to keep information up to date for job requisitions, candidates, contacts, etc
  • Tracking Progress

Cons

  • Not very intuitive - some features are hard to use and learn
  • Running reports - reports give incomplete data
  • Better Tracking of Progress on job requisitions
  • Easier collaboration because info needed is shared among users
It is what the company is used to using and would be difficult to replace, but it is probably not the best option out there for an applicant tracking system.
This is a good software if everyone in the organization is used to it and knows how to use it. To learn this from scratch is difficult, and while there are a lot of features to make using SmartSearch easy and automated, these features are difficult to learn and sometimes you aren't aware of the option being available.
