Overall Satisfaction with Smartsheet
Smartsheet is used across our organization and shared with our clients to track projects and communications.
- Smartsheet has great pre-defined templates for a variety of tasks from project management with Gantt charts, team task lists, bug tracking, to financials, etc... All templates are easily customized for your specific needs.
- Smartsheet easily allows for team communication on tasks, attaching external documents and email alerts/updates to the team.
- Easily allows for moving items / tasks around on a sheet (much easier than Excel).
- Includes many Excel type functions/formulas.
- While there are functions/formulas available, they are not always intuitive to create. Would be great if it had a function builder tool similar to Excel to simplify, or allow an excel function to be added. If you need complex formula development, stick with Excel or Google Sheets
- Increase internal efficiency and team sharing. Has also reduced effort in keeping client up to date on current project status
- MS Project,MS Excel
Easier to communicate with a team than with MS Project. Easier than Excel for managing projects or task lists, but does not have the formula/function strength of Excel.
