Overall Satisfaction with Smartsheet

We use Smartsheet to solve a number of problems within our division and company as a whole. Everything from event timelines, project manangement, financial reporting and staffing resources. We have streamlined and eliminated a number of manual processes over the past few years, and are constantly finding new ways to use the product.

  • Visualization of key data and metrics
  • Ease of use
  • Formatting and branding capabilites
  • Some newer functionality is not as intuitive
  • You need to purchase additional "premium" applications in order to use the product to its full potential
  • Immediate visualization into the current financial state of the business has been crucial, especially during changes to our business as a result of COVID-19

Anything that was done on a spreadsheet, word document or similar can be easily transfered to Smartsheet. The area I see that is currently lacking is inventory management solution and some of the premium add-ons could be better.

200 - All aspects of our business, HR, accounting, executive team, project managers, customer service, etc.
1 - Currently I am the only internal team member that is a subject matter expert, that said, it's easy to be self-taught, if time allows. An understanding of data collection and how processes and supporting tools work together is key.

I am a huge proponent of this platform and all the benefits that come from utilizing it to its fullest extent. The biggest hurdle i have had is getting internal staff to adopt new processes.
