Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have been using this tool for the last 5 years and this is a pretty decent tool to track the IPs that are reserved, assigned, and available. Easy to create the group and manage each IP subnets independently.

Pros and Cons

Can track all the IP address ( provisioned and available) automatically
Centralized managed solution
Can integrate with the DNS

Sometimes I have noticed the IP pool doesn't get refreshed and am not sure where the issue is. I had to cross verify the IP address before assigning it to male sure it doesn't conflict with already provisioned Servers

Return on Investment

can free up my time in spending hours to identify the available IP's
Helps in avoiding human error and thus reduce the downtime

Likelihood to Recommend

IPAM is easy to identify the IPs that are provisioned vs reserved vs available. In a situation where the DHCP scope or pool is not defined, the IPAM adds lots snd lots of advantages in tracking as I need not maintain an excel sheet for everything
