Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds ipMonitor
We use IPMonitor to monitor all of our servers, both production, and test for various things such as response to ping, resource usage, service availability, and to alert the proper staff when needed.
- Monitoring servers and services.
- Alerting on change of state.
- Reporting historical data on availability.
- Sometimes it is difficult to stop IPMon from alerting on regular usage that spikes resources.
- The positive impact is huge. IT is able to identify issues and often resolve them before a user opens a ticket.
We have been using IPMonitor for over a decade. We have looked at other products in the past, but none of them have provided enough reason to even consider switching.
