We use SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) to monitor all of our Internet and MPLS circuits for our data centers and branch offices located in the U.S. and overseas. The SolarWinds NetFlow traffic monitoring has been set up on all kinds of devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • It would be nice to have an example showing the typical use for each feature
  • We have very good ROI from using NTA to monitor our network

SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) can be used to monitor an enterprise network containing all kinds of connections, such as Internet and MPLS VPN. NTA is very helpful to troubleshoot a network issue because it can correlate events for different sites, circuits, and devices. It is still useful for a very small and simple network; however, the benefit may not be as much.
