Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor
We are using SolarWinds to monitor and troubleshoot network equipment and servers across all of our 22 school buildings and support facilities. It is our "Go To" solution for quick performance metrics and real time monitoring.
- It gives us up to the minute performance data enabling us to make informed troubleshooting decisions.
- It provides historical data showing us performance trends helping us plan future purchases and upgrades.
- It provides key data to show management when and why upgrades are needed.
- It could be easier to determine which of the many modules available would be beneficial to our organization.
- Trial licenses could be included when purchasing a base module to make it easy to try other program features and modules.
- SolarWinds has allowed us to respond faster to outages and to determine where are performance deficiencies are.
- The system allows us to show our users when performance is our network services vs. simply not enough bandwidth. This leads to less user frustration.
SolarWinds has many more modules and keeps more detailed historical data than What's Up.
