Network Performance Monitor is used by our Infrastructure department to monitor Network, VMWare, and SAN devices. NPM has allowed us to get an insight into how our Infrastructure is performing and allows us to get ahead of issues that may arise.
- Keeping Infrastructure Inventory in an organized place.
- Alerting on Issues with devices and providing performance trends.
- Providing hardware health for devices.
- Basic integration for Juniper devices such as node details is lacking.
- We were able to properly size network upgrades based on trend levels and capacity management capabilities.
- We have been able to get ahead of serious business downtimes due to monitoring and alerts that have led is to an issue before business owners knew there was an issue.
