SolarWinds Network Performance (NPM) is used to monitor the health of our switches and other network devices, from several brands including Cisco, Aruba, and HPE and (I) OT devices. We use it to monitor when devices are offline, when interfaces have status changes, and also interface bandwidth on devices to identify potential issues.

6 - Application management functions, to check applications functionality, network status and availability based on network protocol and access. Network and System administrators, to manage, maintain and operate the network infrastructure environment. Business unit managers and operations to be informed about their equipment and it's network status. Trouble shooting and root cause issue diagnosis for all mentioned functions.
2 - Network and System administrators, support SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM). NPM is quite easily to manage now a days. Updating the system to a latest release is easily supported by the SolarWinds update manager, which is included in the deployment.
Adding new systems to NPM can be done using the build interactively wizard. There is also the possibility to scan system, to be added as result of the scan.

Based on several years of experience I am convinced that Solarwinds products (NPM) are scalable and reliable solutions with customizable user-friendly interfaces. One of the most useable features is the creation of custom reports using a variety of data sources (SQL query, SNMP, OID, etc.). Alerts constructor is a simple and powerful tool as well.
