Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor

We use it to keep an eye on key services and systems for possible bottlenecks choking the environment
  • Tight integration with their network performance monitor
  • customizability of alerts
  • customizable dashboard so I can see only what matters to me and hide all the other "stuff"
  • Fantastic user resources aka Thwak
  • A tighter tie-in with O365
  • Minimizing application downtime
  • Troubleshooting performance issues a lot faster
  • Capacity planner shows where issues will be before they cause you grief
I run quite a suite of SW tools. I have found them all to so tightly integrate that you have trouble telling which module a specific task actually came from. All you know is it all runs very well together!
I think it's a key tool that should be in every IT department
