Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds Virtualization Manager
It is used across the whole organization. Proactive monitoring gives false alerts. For example, when monitoring snapshots. When we call support, we get answers that this feature is not available, etc.
- Auto discovery via VMAN.
- Proactive monitoring of guest disk/ virtual disk.
- It does predictions based on usage of VM resources.
- Proactive VM status monitoring.
- Snapshot monitoring is not good.
- SolarWinds support assistance for customization is not good.
- I would rate it average, as there are lot of things needed for Virtualization Manager.
They give more customization options.
