Overall Satisfaction with Sophos Intercept X

Intercept X is being used by clients as an endpoint security agent. For new infections in the wild and partial threat matches, nothing is more aggressive.

Pros

  • Partial threat detection.
  • Low CPU cycles during scan.

Cons

  • The UI is still cumbersome.
  • The management plane could be better.
  • No immediate issues.
It is one of the only products that will scan all code in memory and arbitrary data for malicious behaviors.
Sophos is one of the few vendors to provide access to their developers in order to troubleshoot.
