Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

Since COVID we have greatly increased the number of remote workers of all departments at our health centre. These people are amazing at their jobs, but not necessarily tech savvy with regard to VPNs, MFA, Remote Desktops, etc. Having Splashtop SOS has made my life as the IT manager a great deal easier as staff can be supported by remoting into their laptops and helping them through VPN connection issues, necessary software installs, etc. Trying to follow explanations of some of these tasks is frustrating for non-tech minded staff and Splashtop removes that frustration for all and allows everyone to get to work quickly and efficiently.

When initiating use of Splashtop I had a few questions. They were answered with clarity and enough detail to give me the information I needed for a smooth install and setup of users. Contacting support was as easy as could be.
I have no concerns regarding the security of this product.
As mentioned earlier, onboarding was a quick and easy experience. Questions were answered quickly and I was able to use the product with some test staff within minutes.
Yes - Team Viewer was being used, but is pricier and not as user friendly in my opinion.

Any situation where a member of the IT support team needs to assist remote staff is appropriate. The increased efficiency of resolving IT problems directly on client laptops is always an advantage in both time savings and limiting frustration for users and support.
